British Columbia's casino hotels
Last updated · facts verified
British Columbia splits the job: BCLC manages the casinos, while the Independent Gambling Control Office is the regulator. You must be 19, and from June 2023 casinos have asked every visitor for government photo ID and run it against the restricted-entry list. Our two Lower Mainland picks have almost nothing in common.

Our reviews here: 2 casino hotels
River Rock Casino Resort
The Canada Line makes River Rock the simplest Canadian casino hotel to reach without driving: YVR in about seven minutes, downtown Vancouver in about 18. Beyond the station you'll find 396 rooms, some serious suites, the country's first Gordon Ramsay Steak, a pool with a water slide and a marina on the Fraser.
Cascades Casino Resort
In Langley City, Gateway runs the Cascades casino and the 77-room Coast hotel shares its site. Come for a well-cooked steak at ATLAS, gaming at any hour and free parking; don't come looking for a pool or a show.
